Annemarie is fascinated by how social change can happen through the careful & deliberate design of interactions between people and society.

She leads CHÔRA’s partnerships and operations division. In her role, she works with clients & partners to diagnose and improve their portfolio management approaches through trainings and leadership development. With an eye for creating impact beyond the scope and boundaries of projects, she takes an all round perspective, combining strategic concepts, operational design, facilitation & partnership brokering.

Prior to CHÔRA, Annemarie worked with civil society groups and aid organisations around the world to reimagine radically different humanitarian aid models. She has designed, set up & facilitated collective pooled funding mechanisms for crisis response, created leadership programs for public sector leaders to navigate their organisations through change, and has designed & facilitated collective change programs for social initiatives.
